The content of the Download:

 

• The web pages at http://www.lokfabriken.de with the history of the locomotive builders in Germany from 1815 until today (please regard that the web pages are in German language only). But in contrast to the online version with more than 130 delivery lists.

   

• Over 130 delivery lists in PDF format - independend of the operating systems, reading, searching and printing is possible with the Adobe® Reader®.
  Note:
  The Adobe® Reader® is not on the CD, the latest version is available for free at http://www.adobe.de/.

   

• The delivery lists are also available in Word format. It is possible to edit this files with Word or any program which can read the Word format.

   

• A Java program (Java 6.0) enables you to search in all delivery data. The search in more than 300.000 deliveries takes only a few seconds.

   

• The Download content is in total 200 MB (download 133 MB zip compressed file) and could be copied to the hard disk.

   

• Changes to previous version (V 10.xxx "Locomotive builders in Germany online in the internet since 10 years"):
  • New topic "From Germany in World War II occupied locomotive builders", including their delivery lists.
  • New topic "German locomotive plants abroad" including theis delivery lists (except Lugansk)
  • New topic "The hiostory of the delivery lists"
  • New search function in Java, now with more than 300.000 deliveries.
  • New Word file with all delivery lists in one file, including a Word macro for searching
  • Update of all statistics to the state of end of 2011
  • Update of the delivery lists until 2011, as far as the companies cooperated
  • New delivery lists: Schuckert, UEG, AFA, Lahmeyer
  • Now a total of over 130 delivery lists with over 300.000 deliveries
